Rainbow Camp® 2026 Update

Rainbow Camp® is building its next chapter.

Rainbow Camp® will not be holding our traditional summer camp sessions in 2026. Our work, however, continues.

This year, we are focusing on strengthening year-round connections, preparing for future camp experiences, and moving forward with something we have dreamed about for years — a permanent home for Rainbow Camp®.

Our goal is not simply to return to camp. It is to create greater stability so Rainbow Camp can continue serving 2SLGBTQ+ youth and allies for generations to come.

Rainbow Camp isn’t going away. We’re building what comes next.

Supporting queer, trans, Two-Spirit, non-binary, and allied youth.

What Campers Say

“Rainbow Camp was the first place I felt safe to be myself. I made friends who understood me in a way no one back home ever had. I left knowing I’m not alone.”

This is the kind of belonging we are working to preserve for future campers.

Affirming Spaces Matter

Rainbow Camp has always been built around safety, consent, care, and community.

Our Next Chapter

Something big is coming.

For more than a decade, Rainbow Camp® has created a place where 2SLGBTQ+ youth can feel safe, seen, and celebrated.

Now we are working toward something Rainbow Camp has never had before: a permanent home of our own in Northern Ontario.

A permanent home would give Rainbow Camp greater long-term stability, create new opportunities for year-round connection, and help ensure that future generations of young people have a place where they know they belong.

We’re preparing for the next chapter of Rainbow Camp®.
