Campfire Circle
2SLGBTQ+ Youth Camp in Canada Safe, Seen, and Celebrated.
Rainbow Camp® creates affirming spaces where 2SLGBTQ+ youth and allies can connect, build confidence, make friends, and experience what it feels like to belong exactly as they are.
From the first nervous hello to late-night laughter by the lake, Rainbow Camp has created life-changing moments of belonging.
Rainbow Camp® is building its next chapter.
Rainbow Camp® will not be holding our traditional summer camp sessions in 2026. Our work, however, continues.
This year, we are focusing on strengthening year-round connections, preparing for future camp experiences, and moving forward with something we have dreamed about for years — a permanent home for Rainbow Camp®.
Our goal is not simply to return to camp. It is to create greater stability so Rainbow Camp can continue serving 2SLGBTQ+ youth and allies for generations to come.
Rainbow Camp isn’t going away. We’re building what comes next.
Supporting queer, trans, Two-Spirit, non-binary, and allied youth.
Rainbow Camp® is a Canadian 2SLGBTQ+ youth camp founded in Northern Ontario. We support queer, trans, Two-Spirit, non-binary, questioning, and allied youth through affirming experiences built around belonging, mental wellness, friendship, leadership, and community.
Support for Rainbow Camp® helps strengthen youth connection and programming, prepare for future camp experiences, maintain the organization behind this work, and move us toward the long-term stability of a permanent home.

Belonging changes everything.
Rainbow Camp® exists so 2SLGBTQ+ youth can experience what it feels like to be surrounded by people who understand, affirm, and celebrate them. That mission continues as we prepare for Rainbow Camp’s next chapter.
These are the moments worth protecting.

Belonging Looks Like This
These are the experiences we want to preserve and grow for future generations of 2SLGBTQ+ youth and allies.
Belonging
For many campers, this is the first time they’ve met other queer youth their age.
Quiet Moments
Time by the water to breathe, reflect, and feel your shoulders finally drop.
Creative Expression
Buttons, zines, flags, and projects that say “this is me.”
Pure Joy
Goofy games, big energy, and laughter that echoes through the trees.
“Rainbow Camp was the first place I felt safe to be myself. I made friends who understood me in a way no one back home ever had. I left knowing I’m not alone.”
– Camper, age 16Affirming Spaces Matter
Rainbow Camp has always been built around safety, consent, care, and community.
2SLGBTQ+ Youth & AlliesSomething big is coming.
For more than a decade, Rainbow Camp® has created a place where 2SLGBTQ+ youth can feel safe, seen, and celebrated.
Now we are working toward something Rainbow Camp has never had before: a permanent home of our own in Northern Ontario.
A permanent home would give Rainbow Camp greater long-term stability, create new opportunities for year-round connection, and help ensure that future generations of young people have a place where they know they belong.
We’re preparing for the next chapter of Rainbow Camp®.
