Future Camp Location & Travel
Traditional overnight Rainbow Camp® sessions are not running in 2026, and location and travel arrangements for future overnight sessions are not yet confirmed.
We are actively working toward the return of overnight programming in 2027. When plans are confirmed, this page will contain the travel information families need.
Travel information will return when camp plans are confirmed.
Previous Rainbow Camp® seasons have included options such as supervised bus transportation, family drop-off and pick-up, and coordination for campers arriving by air.
Those previous arrangements should not be assumed for 2027. Routes, pickup locations, airports, travel assistance, and the future camp location will be confirmed as part of future session planning.
What families can expect
When overnight camp returns, we will make travel planning clear.
Once future sessions are confirmed, this page will be updated with current information rather than asking families to rely on travel arrangements from previous years.

Airport information and any arrangements available for campers travelling from farther away.

A Canada-wide community
Distance has always mattered in how we plan Rainbow Camp®.
Rainbow Camp® has welcomed young people from communities well beyond Northern Ontario. For some families, getting to camp is a significant part of making participation possible.
As future sessions are developed, travel and accessibility will remain important planning considerations. We will publish confirmed arrangements once we know what can responsibly be offered.
Before making plans

We know some families need to plan travel well in advance. At this stage, however, there are no confirmed 2027 session dates, camp location, bus routes, airport arrangements, or travel-support details.
Once those pieces are in place, we will update this page and the Camp Sessions and Registration pages together so families receive consistent information.
The bigger picture
A permanent home can also create greater stability for travel planning.
Rainbow Camp® is working toward more than finding another temporary site for a season. We are building toward a permanent home where future programming can have greater stability and continuity.
We have viable property opportunities. The challenge now is raising the capital needed to acquire and develop the right permanent site.
